We here at USS Rock n’ Roll all claim we do improv for the love of the art, but when the Del Close Awards come up, our love focuses solely on winning trophies. Let’s face it: we don’t get a lot of money for this sort of thing, so trophies are awesome.
So if you like helping us win trophies, too — especially two years in a row — then you can nominate us for this year’s Best Harold Team at the Del Close Awards. USS wins at Dels and why I love improvisers.

USS Rock ‘N Roll won the Del award for best Harold team last night at iO West’s annual Del awards. What does this mean?! It means we paid a lot of people to vote for us. But seriously folks… here’s why I love improvisers.
I have worked for financial companies, production houses, multi-million dollar boutique gyms, for CEO’s, for people with money, and for people with celebrity. But I have never… while working at any of these places, looked around and thought, “holy shit” these people are all geniuses. Not once have I worked with someone that made me feel slightly in awe because they were super smart, or super funny, or super anything really.

The Del Close Award nominees have been announced and USS Rock N Roll is nominated in nearly every eligible category! Wow. Thank you. We are honored and flattered. Honestly, we didn’t know if anybody else thought The Touch was as sexy as we do. Hopefully it won’t go to his head. Anyway, this has already been a big year for us and we are looking to keep it going. Your continued support is most appreciated.
