USSRock N’ Roll has invited several talented and esteemed improvisers aboard our heralded ship to add to our voice and contribute words of blogging wisdom on a week by week basis. These soldiers care about improv and want to share their ideas with all of you. Allow us to introduce you to this highly trained special ops force of elite “make m’ up” commandos.

Bryan Minh Truong – Bryan has studied from UCB, IO, Second City, Groundlings, Impro Theater, ComedySportz and many more workshops that won’t be mentioned now to save space. You will find Bryan always in at least 2 or more classes or workshops at the same time. Bryan also takes numerous acting classes to improve his improv.

Drew Coolidge – Drew is a Los Angeles based improviser, actor, and coach. He has appeared on The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien, Attack of the Show on G4 and numerous national commercials. A graduate of the Upright Citizen’s Brigade and iOWest, he has toured throughout the southwest teaching and performing and can be seen weekly with the iOWest harold team The Cartel and with the iO Repertory. He’s also really good at Guitar Hero and finds this skill not applicable anywhere, ever.

Mark Piebenga – Mark is a southpaw vegetarian hailing originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan. He is an actor and teacher residing in Chicago who has done work at Second City, iO, and the Annoyance. He eschews neither creature comforts nor frivolous wordplay, very infrequently contributes to the baseball blog and podcast RSBS, and is honored to be included here.

Rolland Lopez - Rolland took his first improv class at M.i’s Westside Comedy Theater in 2007 and hasn’t left the theater since. He performs regularly as part of the house team, “Battlesocks”, and as part of the “Mission IMPROVable” and “Improv Overruled” casts.
Rolland’s also a voiceover actor who was once paid to sing very, very badly (as requested) for the US Army. He has done radio commercials for various clients and voices in video games. In his spare time, he enjoys studying foreign languages and is experimenting with only dating women for whom English is not their mother tongue. He’s not quite sure if that’ll work.
